Our Physicians

Shawn Pierson, MD

Shawn Pierson, MD Dr. Pierson joined PNP in 2004. He previously worked as a pediatric attending physician at Kennedy Memorial Hospital. Dr. Pierson completed his pediatric residency from Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Pierson attended Princeton University and obtained a BA undergraduate degree in molecular biology. He is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Pierson grew up in West Windsor and is a graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School. He enjoys golf, skiing, and watching English Premier League Soccer. Dr. Pierson lives in Hillsborough with his wife, three children, and dog.

Gerald Raymond, M.D.

Gerald Raymond, M.D. Dr. Raymond joined PNP in 1987. He completed his pediatric residency from Columbus Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Raymond received his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He obtained an undergraduate degree and graduated with honors from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Dr. Raymond is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary in 2007 and lives in Lawrenceville with his wife and two children. His son attends Penn St and his daughter will be joining him at Penn State in the fall.

Kathleen Riewe, M.D.

Kathleen Riewe, M.D. Dr. Riewe joined PNP in 2009. She completed her residency in pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Children's Memorial Hospital at Northwestern University, in Chicago, IL. Dr. Riewe also completed post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric hematology and oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weil Cornell Medical Center in New York, NY. She received her medical degree and masters of public health from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Riewe graduated from Duke University in Durham, NC, with a BS degree in biology. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Riewe enjoys running, has completed two marathons, and likes spending time with her family. She lives in Montgomery with her husband and two sons.
