CHOP and Princeton Hospital Partnership
Posted on Jul 20, 2009 We are very excited to welcome physicians affiliated with CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia) to Princeton Hospital.
Beginning in July 2009, physicians and other health professionals from CHOP will provide services for children at University Medical Center of Princeton as part of CHOP Pediatric Care at UMCP (Pediatric Unit) and CHOP Newborn Care at UMCP (Level II Special Care Nursery).
CHOP will provide pediatric hospitalists on-site 24/7 to care for children and adolescents who are admitted to UMCP's Pediatric Unit. The hospitalists also will provide pediatric consultation to the Emergency Department and the Well Baby Nursery, as well as administer sedation to children if needed.
