Before Baby Is Born:
Lamaze: Journey through Childbirth (One day class $130.00 per couple/5-week series $120.00 per couple)
Understanding comfort measures for labor and birth. First Impressions Maternity tour included. One day Saturday or Sunday classes offered or 5-week Wednesday evening series.
Infant Care ($63.00 per couple)
Prepares expectant parents for the care of their newborn infant up to and including 3 months of age. Learn about bathing, diapering, feeding, cord and circumcision care, illness, safety, and much more. One day Saturday classes offered or 3-week Friday evening series.
Breastfeeding ($45.00 per couple)
Provides current information on all aspects of breastfeeding and offers support for breastfeeding moms and their partners. Also gives information on breastfeeding rentals available at the HAC. One day classes offered on Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays.
CPR for Family & Friends ($35.00 per person/$60.00 per couple)
This is a great class for parents-to-be, new parents, grandparents, or the general community. Learn CPR and how to help a choking victim (adult, child, and infant) in a relaxed atmosphere. This is a non-certification training. A letter of clearance from OB/GYN for all expectant mothers-to-be is required. Classes offered on Friday evenings.
Sibling Preparation ($15.00 one child and family/$25.00 two or more children and family)
Helps with the transition of children age 2 and older into the new role of big brother or big sister. Includes children’s tour of our First Impressions Maternity Pavilion. This class can be taken before or after the birth of the new sibling. Classes offered on Thursday evenings.
Expectant Grandparents Program ($15.00 per person/$25.00 per couple)
Provides current information about how you can contribute to the well-being of the baby. Includes a tour of our First Impressions Maternity Pavilion. Classes offered on Friday evenings.
After Baby is Born:
Newborn Parenting: A three-week class after delivery. Parents and infants birth to 3 months.
Baby & Me: Parent(s) and baby 2-6 months old
Baby Talk-Parents/Caregivers and infant or toddler
Rolling Strollers-Parent/Caregiver and any stroller age child 6 weeks or older
Moving Up: Parent(s) and baby 6-12 months old
Totally Toddlers I: Parent(s) and toddler 12-18 months old
Totally Toddlers II: Parent(s) and toddler 19-25 months old
Fun Time: Parent(s) and toddler 26-26 months old
Storytime & More with Miss Sue: Children 2-3 years old (no parent)
Preschool Prep: Children 3-5 years old (no parent)
